The 2024 flagbearer of the national democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has stated that there is a lot of wrong in the voter register going to be used for the December 7 general elections.

According to Mr Mahama, names of registered voters have been transferred to different polling station without their notices while others are reporting of missing names.

On the second day of his Greater Accra Regional campaign tour, the former President told supporters at Adjen Kotoku in the Amasaman Constituency the NDC would want the right thing to be done.

He added that the NDC is a peace-loving party and will do anything within its means to make sure there is peace before, during and after the election.

But he was quick to add that the NDC will not allow anybody to cheat them since they will also not cheat any party in the election.

He has, therefore, advised the Electoral Commission (EC) to, as a matter of urgency, do the needful by correcting the mistakes in the voter register before election day.

A seven-day exhibition exercise by the EC ended on Tuesday, August 27.
