The Mampong Traditional Council has commended the police Commander of the area, DSP W. O. Abisah and the Executive Director of the Mampong Center for Plant Medicine Research (CPMR) Dr Kofi Bobi, for their good works ever since they assumed office in their respective positions.

The Apesemakahene of the Mampong Akuapim traditional area, Nana Yirenkyi speaking in a recent interview with the media said since the Police Commander came to Mampong, the security situations in the area have improved significantly.
He noted that prior to his coming, the community had been battling crime and all manner of social vices.
He averred that security situation in Mampong Akuapim currently can be described as the best so far.
Nana Yirenkyi said Dr Kofi Bobi has also Done a lot at the CPMR, as he has revived it to its current state.
He said due to Dr Kofi Bobi’s hard work, he has emerged as one of the top 10 CEOs in the Pharmaceutical industry in Ghana.
Nana Yirenkyi l and the Traditional council have therefore appealed to President Nana Akufo-Addo to award the two personalities for their good works.
