Management of Fotocopy issues apology for their artiste’s remarks in an interview

The management of young Ghanaian musician, Fotocopy has issued an apology on behalf of the artiste for remarks he made in a recent interview on Movement TV.

The interview, which aired on Friday, 28th April 2023, has caused controversy and upset among members of the public.

In a statement released on Monday, the management of Fotocopy said: “On behalf of our artiste FOTO COPY and all the brands he represents, management would like to render an unqualified apology to the general public for some utterances made by our artiste in an interview on Movement TV dated Friday 28th April 2023.”

The statement went on to clarify that Fotocopy did not intend to disrespect anyone with his answers during the interview, and that the young musician’s behavior was reflective of his age and childhood.

“FOTO COPY never meant to disrespect anyone with his answers during the interview hence we want to tell everyone who felt offended and disrespected that we are sorry. As much as he is been guided, nobody tries to take away his childhood from him which reflects in his demeanor sometimes.”

The statement concluded by thanking the public for their understanding and support.

The apology comes in the wake of a recent interview on Abeiku Santana’s show, during which Fotocopy was asked to apologize to Kuami Eugene after expressing dislike for him in an earlier interview.
