Mathew Opoku Prempeh ranked Best Performing Minister in Ghana
Minister for Education and the Honourable Member of Parliament (MP) for the Manhyia South Constituency, Mathew Opoku Prempeh, has been adjudged the best performing minister in 2019 by popular political talkshow ‘Ekosii Sen’ on Asempa FM.
According to a list compiled recently by panelists on the show outlining the Best and Worst performing Ministers, Deputy Ministers, and Chief Executive Officers of (CEOs) of State owned companies for the year 2019, the Education Minister’s efforts at manning his assigned government department within the year under review was highly praised.
The organizers say the list was made using five key benchmarks in evaluating performance and influence of top personnel.
The education minister was ranked number one in cognizance of the achievements chalked by his outfit in the year under review. High feats such as the implementation of the popular “Free SHS” scheme among other policies by the Ministry including the “Teacher First Policy” which were aimed at a better and all-inclusive educational system was factored in the ranking.
