Ghana champions Medeama SC will battle with top teams in the group stage of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League.
The Tarkwa lads were drawn into Group D alongside record-holders and defending champions Al Ahly SC and Algerian champions CR Belouizdad.
Tanzanian champions, Young Africans SC who were in the final of last season’s CAF Confederation Cup last season is the other team in the group.
The top two teams in each group will advance to the quarter-final stage of the competition.
Meanwhile, MTN FA Cup holders Dreams FC also got paired with Rivers United from Nigeria, Club Africain from Tunisia and APC Lobito from Angola in the Group stage of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup.
Dreams FC defied all odds to make the group stage in their debut African campaign following their MTN FA Cup triumph last season.
The group phase of the Confederation Cup will begin on Sunday, November 26, 2023, through to March 3, 2024.
