MEDIA HOUSES LAMBASTED FOR LITTERING PARLIAMENT AFTER COVERING 2020 BUDGET

The foyer of Parliament was littered with bottled water, empty take away packs and several polythene bags after the presentation of the 2020 Budget statement by the Finance Minister on Wednesday.

The garbage was scattered all over the August house because media houses which had erected makeshift studios at the foyer to cover the Budget failed to collect their refuses before leaving.

Several of the top presenters of these radio and TV stations immediately jumped into their vehicles and drove off leaving the dirt behind after their pre and post budget interviews.

Media houses, both small and big gathered at the location for the live coverage of the Parliamentary proceedings.

A picture of the sorry state of Parliament was posted on Facebook by a member of the Parliamentary press corps, Franklin Asare Donkor and this has attracted lots of attacks on the media houses.
