MEDILAB Ghana urges Ghanaians to Embrace Regular Medical Check-Ups

Speaking at the opening ceremony of their new facility opposite Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, General Manager Dr. Owusu Kofi Pisco emphasized the importance of preventive healthcare and early detection of diseases.

In his address, Dr. Pisco highlighted that regular health check-ups serve as a “health status report card,” allowing individuals to detect potential health issues like cancer and diabetes in their early, more manageable stages. “Prevention is better than cure,” he reiterated, noting that MEDILAB’s experienced team uses advanced testing to guide patient care and provide personalized advice on lifestyle changes that can prevent illnesses.

MEDILAB Ghana is also set to expand its services, particularly in radiological investigations, with plans to offer X-rays, CT scans, and MRI services in addition to their regular lab testing. “Our goal is to grow and serve the community’s diagnostic needs in an efficient and affordable manner,” Dr. Pisco stated.
