The Methodist Church Ghana through its national leadership has unveiled a fully furnished Conference Hall in honour of the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East constituency, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson

The Mavis Hawa Koomson Hall, located at Kasoa Bethel Methodist Church was unveiled by the Presiding Bishop of Methodist Church Ghana, Most Reverend Paul Kwabena Boafo; supported by the Superintendent Minister of the Kasoa circuit, Rt. Rev. Sampson Kofi Kamkam and other Bishops who accompanied the Presiding Bishop to the event

Aside the honour, the Presiding Bishop presented a citation on behalf of the Methodist church to the revered Awutu Senya East lawmaker.
The Presiding Bishop commended the MP for the good work she has been doing and this good work according to the Presiding Bishop has caught the attention of the church at the national level hence the need for them to honor her.
