“In NDC money should not be the deciding factor. Let us look at substance and those who are capable of leading us. It is the only way that we can differentiate ourselves from the NPP.

He also cautioned persons aspiring to hold various positions in the party to desist from any attempt to influence the votes with money.

Speaking to journalists on Sunday June 12, he indicated that the party that has gained notoriety for influencing votes with money is the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The NDC, he said, should not emulate them in order to draw the differentiation between the two parties.

“In NDC money should not be the deciding factor. Let us look at substance and those who are capable of leading us. It is the only way that we can differentiate ourselves from the NPP.

“If we and NPP are the same, why should Ghanaians change NPP and bring us? If NPP takes vans with money to their regional congress and share it , the NDC comes to do the same thing, why will any ordinary Ghanaian change one group of thieves and bring another group of thieves? No.

“So, in my view, all of us in NDC should be watchful of those who will come and try to use not only money but they come with fans, fridges and all those things, they use money to buy them. Let us be careful so that we will not sell our conscience for people.”
