Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East, Hon. Naser Toure Mahama has distributed 3000 hand sanitizer, face masks, Veronica buckets and liquid soap to be place at vantage points his constituency, public toilets, mosque and churches etc.
The distribution is to help his constituents to help prevent the spread of novel and deadly coronavirus as the national statistics on virus keep reducing. As part preventive measures, citizens are advised to maintain proper personal hygiene, eat healthily, have enough sleep and drink a lot of water, in addition to the prescribed social distance protocols.
The Member of Parliament who is seeking third term to the august house wishes to advice his constituents remain be careful, vigilant and stay at home and observe the social distant measures.
Meanwhile Ghana has recorded 132 persons have been confirmed positive to the Coronavirus disease.
Majority of the new cases were among those under mandatory quarantine while the remaining were from within the general population of the country.
Authorities say all the new patients have been isolated and are receiving treatment.
