MP for Ledzokuku Ben Ayiku donates Plastic Fish Crates to Teshie Sangonaa Canoe Owners and Fishermen Assc.
The presentation was done at a brief ceremony held at the Sekan's family house in the Akro West Ward.
The Honorable Member of Parliament for the Ledzokuku Constituency, on Tuesday donated over 300 top quality plastic fish crates, assorted drinks and an undisclosed cash to the Teshie Sangonaa Canoe Owners and Fishermen Association.
The presentation was done at a brief ceremony held at the Sekan’s family house in the Akro West Ward.
Present at the ceremony were leaders and members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the constituency, leaders and members of the Teshie Sangonaa Canoe Owners and Fishermen Association, fisher folks and some community members.
In his remarks the MP thanked the Association for their role and efforts in providing support for all activities at the beach. He assured them of his support anytime they call on him.
Chairman of the Association, Nii Ashai Amarh, was full of praise for the MP for the kind gesture. He described it as a timely provision that will go a long way to support their work.
He also prayed for the Almighty God to grant the MP good health, longlife and victory in the forthcoming parliamentary primaries and the 2024 General Elections.
