Nsoatreman is expected to receive a sum of Gh 180,000 cedis as prize money for winning the 2024 MTN FA Cup.

Maxwell Konadu’s side beat Bofoakwa Tano 5-4 on penalties after the game ended 1-1 in regular time at the University of Ghana stadium on Sunday.

By winning the cup, Nsoatreman will represent Ghana at the 2024/25 Confederation Cup. The club will receive Gh 100,000 cedis for their upcoming journey in Africa, while the other Gh 80,000 cedis serves as prize money.

Chairman of the MTN FA Cup Committee, Wilson Arthur confirmed on Akoma FM that there are discussions to increase the amount to support Nsoatreman’s continental campaign.

“We are still in talks with the FA and the government to secure greater funding for the club so it can perform well in Africa.”

The Bono-based side had a successful season finishing fifth in the Ghana Premier League and winning the FA Cup, just two seasons after gaining promotion.
