My Daily Diary of Political Activism: Where exactly is Akufo-Addo moving Ghana?
Folks, pardon me for “vanishing into thin air” and not writing to comment on happenings in Ghana over the past few weeks. The spring semester is in full session and I am caught up in many assignments.
I have a respite now and will use it to return to the groove, armed with what I know and will say about the situation in Ghana before dashing off to do “official business” for which I am in the academy.
Much of what has happened thus far has to do with the rot in the NPP camp under Akufo-Addo, even though the weak-minded ones therein are still finding it difficult to know and to adjust to, which makes them prisoners of conscience.
To remind them, let me say that the thicket of fraudulent deals by just anybody put in office by Akufo-Addo is a daily happening that scares Ghanaians.
I need not enumerate such deals because they are part of the public knowledge that doesn’t favor Akufo-Addo at all.
Scared by such stark reality, Team Akufo-Addo is running around like headless chickens, looking for just any straw to hang on to as Election 2020 approaches.
The heightening of waywardness in that camp speaks volumes. No day passes by without the eruption of scandals from their camp.
Interestingly, they can’t stop blaming Mahama for such self-created scandals; but they will dare the devil and themselves to hoodwink Ghanaians into believing that Mahama is the cause of their deprivations and woes.
Attempts by them to continue blaming John Mahama aren’t serving any useful purpose, clearly because Ghanaians are fed up with the blame game.
What next for them to do? I will raise that issue in my next post to take the conversation a notch higher.
