Political pressure group, My Vote – My Voice has revealed  deliberate widespread Votes Suppression in NDC strong holds by EC Officials in the 2020 elections.

Addressing a news conference on Wednesday  under the theme :“Will the Electoral Commission of Ghana Temper with Our Electoral Results?”the Convener of the Group, Mr. Gold Arhinfo revealed discrepancies in the 2020 election results, presenting calculations to demonstrate avoidable errors that could have led to disputes and conflicts.

He emphasized the role of polling agents and private collation centers in protecting the sanctity of the vote, calling on all Ghanaians to remain vigilant.

Mr. Arhinfo  expressed grave concerns over the possibility of electoral malpractice in Ghana’s upcoming general elections stressing the need for polling agents of the NDC to remain extra vigilant and put all EC officials into strict check.

“There is the  need for vigilance and transparency in the electoral process to safeguard Ghana’s democracy”, the Convener warned.

The group alleged plans by unidentified groups to impersonate Electoral Commission officials and tamper with results, urging parties to prepare for such eventualities by securing lighting and monitoring processes even after polls close.

Mr. Arhinfo therefore appealed to electoral officials, security personnel, and political leaders to prioritize the nation’s interests.

“No condition is permanent,” he said quoting Galatians 6:7, “Whatever one sows, that will he also reap.”
