The Greater Accra directorate of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), under the leadership of Archibold Cobbina, has for the past weeks, been monitoring and educating the Public on the new variant of the Covid-19 infection, and all its symptoms across all the 29 Districts in the region.
Regional Staffs’ of the Greater Accra NADMO, were taken through the right ways of adhering to the Covid-19 Protocols, proper way of washing and sanitizing hands by the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
Training manuals were also provided for sharing to Municipal and District offices of NADMO.

Under the guidance of the Regional Director of NADMO, Regional Staffs’ were delegated to the District and Municipal NADMO Offices to educate them on the training by the GHS.
Directive from the Director General of NADMO, Eric Nana Agyemang-Prempeh, has directed all Regions and Districts to operate their office under shift system and undertake public sensitization programs, while adhering to all the covid-19 protocols.
The strategy adopted for the greater Accra region was that of one on one education.
