Namibia names 26-man squad for FIFA World Cup qualifiers
The 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification Group H contains Tunisia, Equatorial Guinea, Namibia, Malawi, Liberia and Sao Tome and Principe.
Namibia coach Collin Benjamin on Wednesday announced a final list of 26 players for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Equatorial Guinea and Sao Tome.
Namibia is set to face Equatorial Guinea in Malabo on Nov. 15 and meet Sao Tome in Agadir on Nov. 21.
According to a statement released by the Namibia Football Association, the selected squad will depart from Windhoek on Thursday to set camp in Johannesburg with the international players, before heading to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, on Nov. 12.
The selected players are Loydt Kazapua, Ndisiro Kamaijanda, Jonas Mateus, Ryan Nyambe, Ivan Kamberipa, Lubeni Haukongo, Simon Elago, Kennedy Amutenya, Denzel Haoseb, Charles Hambira, Ananias Gebhardt, Riaan Hanamub, Aprocius Petrus, Ngero Katua, Petrus Shitembi, Prins Menelik Tjiueza, Romeo Kasume, Paulus Amutenya, Marcel Papama, Uetuuru Kambato, Deon Hotto, Absalom Iimbondi, Peter Shalulile, Betuel Muzeu, Elmo Kambindu, Junior Petrus and Edmar Kamatuka.
