Members of the Ghanaian diaspora are rallying behind the “Resetting Ghana Agenda,” launched by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, as the country heads towards this year’s general election.

Concerned by what they describe as the economic hardships, hopelessness, and suffering inflicted on Ghanaians by the Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia administration over the past eight years, the NDC Berlin branch has made a significant contribution to support the party’s campaign.

On August 29, 2024, the NDC Berlin Branch, represented by Dr. Francis Adams, an executive member, donated three brand-new motorbikes and 300 John & Jane-branded T-shirts to the office of former President Mahama. This contribution is part of the branch’s commitment to the “Resetting Ghana Agenda” and its effort to support the party’s election campaign.

The branch’s Executive Committee has also encouraged its members to provide additional support to the party and its parliamentary candidates.

This call to action has inspired many members to purchase “Good Governance Cards” to aid the party’s fundraising efforts.

Additionally, members have supported parliamentary candidates in constituencies across the Western, Ashanti, and Northern regions with JM & PC-branded T-shirts and other resources.

The NDC Berlin branch is calling on all NDC branches across the diaspora to increase their support—logistically, financially, and physically—for the party.

The branch urges all well-meaning Ghanaians who are able to contribute to the NDC’s campaign to do so generously and invites every Ghanaian to join the “Resetting Ghana” movement.

“The time is now,” the branch emphasized, urging all supporters to come together to rescue Ghana from what it described as the “wasteful, nepotistic, and incompetent Nana-Bawumia government” by supporting the NDC and its flagbearer in the upcoming elections.
