NDC Congress Underway: 9,000 Delegates to vote

All is set for the National Delegates Congress of the NDC taking place today, December 17 at the Accra Sports Stadium. About 9,000 delegates are expected to elect national officers for the Party.

Mr. Segbefia said tension between the incumbent Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo and General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, who are vying for the Chairmanship position is expected considering the political pedigree of the two national officers. He said if all things go well, the congress will end within 24 hours as issues such as the delegates register has been dealt with.
