NDC Elections: Let’s vote for competent and Selfless Executives – Mustapha Zambrota to delegates
"I will ensure payment of monthly contributions at the branch level to keep them active and energize the grassroots for total identification of members for a greater voter performance"
An aspiring vice chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Krachi East constituency, Mustapha Zambrota, has admonished members of the umbrella fraternity especially the party’s delegates to vote for competency and committed executives in the impending internal elections.
Zambrota, also known as Alhaji NDC stated that vote buying or elections infested with money in the electoral process is fertile grounds for bad leaders who find themselves in the party making it difficult for every Democratic party to secure smooth victory.
“NDC should eschew such practices and vote for officers who can do the job and bring back power to the party since election 2024 is a must win for the umbrella family,” he said.
In an interview he disclosed that the NDC should remember it is not about money but someone who can work and execute the agenda of the party in the 2024 elections to recapture power from the substandard NPP government.
He emphazed that in the most blatant manner in some parties which strive on “Cash for Vote” the future of NDC should to be significant and equally paramount to every staunch member who has the party at heart and for that matter, the party must eschew “moneycracy” and elect committed leaders to steer the affairs for victory come 2024.
He pledged to galvanize the branches with quality administrative skills and professionalism needed to wrestle power from the deceitful governing NPP.
“I will ensure payment of monthly contributions at the branch level to keep them active and energize the grassroots for total identification of members for a greater voter performance,” he stated.
He reiterated that the branches will provide a monthly comprehensive report for assessment and onward tabulation of request needed at the branches.
Touching on conflict resolution, he said a taskforce will be set aside to see to all form of political and branch conflict, apathy, petty infighting to harmonize equity and social justice for fairness within the branches.
He also reacted to the disciplinary issues in the party, insisting that “the party’s constitution will be our tool and guidelines for disciplinary measures”
