NDC needs to remove erroneous impression created about it by the NPP – Zita
The former Ambassador to the Czech Republic stated that prior to the 2016 general elections, the NPP smeared the NDC with negative campaign, leading to the then governing party’s defeat in the elections.
Former Minister for Tourism, Zita Benson has said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) needs to work hard to remove the wrong impression created about the party by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The former Ambassador to the Czech Republic stated that prior to the 2016 general elections, the NPP smeared the NDC with negative campaign, leading to the then governing party’s defeat in the elections.
Speaking to TV3’s William Evans-Inkum at the Accra Sports stadium during the delegates conference of the NDC to elect new national executives on Saturday December 17, she said “It is up to us to take that notion from us.
“They called Mahama incompetent but we now know who is incompetent.”
She added “…we need to remove the erroneous perception they gave about the party, we need to let the people know the good guys we are as a party.”
