An aspiring Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Awutu Senys East constituency, Dina Tetteh, has said that, the rationale behind her intention to run for Parliament is because she wants an opportunity to serve her people.

She said members of the NDC in the Awutu Senya East Constituency must give her the mandate because she is a servant leader.

She made the remarks in an interview with this reporter in Accra.

Mrs Tetteh promised to serve diligently to work with all persons irrespective of one’s status because she believes in team work.

She says she is a dignified candidate, whose love and service to the umbrella fraternity has never been in doubt.

“I’m inherently humane, service oriented, execution driven, trade unionist, resourceful, versatile and above all enabler,” she added.

She emphasized that as part of her vision, she would prioritize the welfare and livelihoods of individuals of members, supporters and party faithfuls in the constituency.

She urged all members of the party to forge ahead in unity to reclaim political power in the 2024 elections.

She also advised delegates to elect competent candidates like herself who have the party at heart.

“NDC must forge ahead in unity for the party members to work assiduously for victory in 2024, to resolve the increasing hardship being visited on Ghanaians by the inept Akufo-Addo administration,” the trade unionist said.

She appealed to all stakeholders to ensure that the elections are conducted in a democratic, civil, peaceful, fair and transparent way.
