NDC Parliamentary Primaries: Lecturer eyes Krowor Seat

A lecturer at the Maritime University, Nii Kpakpo Addo, has expressed interest in the Krowor Constituency seat on the ticket of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Nii Kpakpo who doubles as the branch chairman of the party at the Heaven Bridge A, told ghnanewsonline.com.gh in an interview that it is his view that the youth of Krowor constituency need a ‘fresh blooded’ young man to lead them in them into the next parliament.

He told this portal that Krowor needs someone who would inspire the youth because such inspiration has eluded them for some time now.

“So a youthful person like me is needed to lead Krowor and serve as an inspiration to the desperate youth who are looking up to me,” Nii stated.

He said as a young person, he knows what the youth go through, and he wants to come to and empower them so they can at least make a meaningful living.

Nii Kpakpo also said he is coming with a reform that would help shape the constituency’s political discourse and decency. This according to him will help the party grassroots to properly engage in the political activities that would catapult the NDC.

The Lecturer further said that if given the nod as the next Krowor Member of Parliament (MP), he will make the grassroots feel of belonged through acceptable discourse so that the people would love to come out to help the NDC.

“When we are youth we should be able to tackle the grassroots, ginger and to make them so functional,” he advised.

The Maritime University lecturer said he wants to create and nurture Tertiary Institution Network (TEIN) in the Leweh University College in Nungua and merge them with that of Maritime University and to link them up to the Regional and National levels.
