NDC promises more developmental projects for Okaikoi Central
The Okaikoi Central communication officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ibrahim Osmanu Samandulgu, has urged his constituents to vote massively for the party’s Parliamentary Candidate Abdul Rashid Issah in the impending general elections come December 7, 2020. He said this will guarantee for them good developmental projects in the constituency.
He promised that, the three millennium school projects built by the John Mahama administration but has been abandoned by the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP), Patrick Boamah, and the Government will be fully completed within 100 days when Rashid Issah is made to win the 2020 Elections.
“The 3 millennium School projects sited at Apenkwa, Tesano and New Fadama will benefit the entire constituency and not only NDC members,” he stated. Osumanu was speaking in an interview with Ghananewsonline.com.gh in Accra.
The Okaikoi North/Central Constituency parliamentary seats have been in the possession of the NPP for 24years now (since 1996). The current MP for the area is also the deputy Minister for and he has been on the seat for two terms now (8years).
According to Osumanu, the MP has largely failed the constituency when it comes to developmental projects. He said, the deplorable state of drainage, roads, sanitation among other issues in the constituency will be fixed perfectly under the close supervision of Rashid Issah as their next MP.
