NDC set to Implode as Pro-Mahama Forces slug it out with Anti-Mahama Forces in the coming days over Kwame Azu Okyehene saga

Loyal supporters of John Mahama did not take kindly to the NDC National Chairman, Mr Ofosu Ampofo, stating that it was the party’s flagbearer John Dramani Mahama who ordered the Regional Secretary of the NDC in the Ashanti Region, Mr Kwame Zu to be humiliated in the Okyehene’s palace.

Indeed Voltarians have also taken serious exception to the mistreatment meted out to one of their dedicated and loyal sons Mr Kwame Zu particularly as the National Chairman of the NPP, Mr Freddy Blay, has refused to apologise to Togbui Afede for disparaging him.

The Voltarians view this humiliation as an attempt to reduce them in the eyes of Okyehene and also frustrate the chances of John Mahama in the 2020 elections. The Pro-Mahama group and the Voltarians have cautioned the party’s leadership against plans to institute disciplinary action against those who condemned the unfortunate incident in the Okyehene’s palace.

The Party in a statement issued on Monday said its political committee has advised its Functional Executive Committee to take steps to enforce discipline and take appropriate action against members who indulged in what it described as “unacceptable conduct” on social media with respect to the matter of the party’s delegation’s visit to the Okyehene.
