NDC targets 20 Parliamentary Seats and 60% Presidential Votes in Central Region – Chairman 

He admonished party members to mend the cracks within every corners of the party for peace, unity and togetherness to prevail because that is what would change the fortunes of the party in the region.

Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Richard Kofi Asiedu has indicated that, the party in the region has targeted to win at least 20 out of the 23 parliamentary seats available.

According to him, pragmatic measures are in place to ensure that the rank and file of the party to secure 20 parliamentary seats in the region including notorious seats like Assin Central and Effutu constituencies often referred as “Mugabe Seats”.

He made this pronouncement when addressing party executives at a day’s workshop in Winneba, where he stated that he will endeavor as much as possible to increase the party’s presidential votes in the region from the current 45.9 per cent in 2020 to over 60 per cent in 2024.

He admonished party members to mend the cracks within every corners of the party for peace, unity and togetherness to prevail because that is what would change the fortunes of the party in the region.

He emphasized that, he is a highly focused soldier and servant of God who believes that the revolution has come to stay and the time is now for all to contribute their quota to the forward match of the NDC to recapture power from this inept elephant party come 2024.

He added that, he says as Chairman, he is accessible, proactive and result oriented as well as experienced to lead the party to exhilarating victory.

He advised delegates in the NDC to ponder and reflect soberly to see who can serve the best interest of the great NDC before casting their delegate votes to any candidate who wants to steer the affairs of the party in the country .

He called on the delegates of the NDC not to make any mistake again in voting for those who cannot help win power in the 2024 polls.
