NDC to unveil manifesto in June
He further noted that the manifesto will be a guide to enable him to address the issue the Ghanaian economy is facing; however, it will suggest ways to boost the economy by engaging stakeholders in discussions to align with the party’s goal.
The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has disclosed that the party will unveil its 2024 manifesto ahead of the upcoming polls by the middle of the year.
He made this known during his ‘Building Ghana Tour’ in Accra on Monday, March 11.
According to Former President Mahama, the manifesto launch would highlight key policies including the popular 24-hour economy, the elimination of ex-gratia payments, the deployment of nurses abroad to tackle unemployment among healthcare professionals and the scrapping of taxes.
“Once we have done that fleshing out, and we’ll finish the ‘Building Ghana Tour’, we’re going to put all the points together, and we are hoping that before the middle of the year, we will be able to launch the manifesto and after that, I will launch the campaign officially…and we’re going to go all out”, Mahama said.
He further noted that the manifesto will be a guide to enable him to address the issue the Ghanaian economy is facing; however, it will suggest ways to boost the economy by engaging stakeholders in discussions to align with the party’s goal.
