NDC’s Foli Yevu laid to rest
Until his untimely death he was the Security Coordinator for the party in the Constituency which is why his burial has attracted high ranking party Members
The Executives of the National Democratic Congresd (NDC) in the Ketu South Constituency led by their Member of Parliament (MP), Abla Dzifa Gomashie has bid farewell to the late Constituency Security Coordinator, Foli Kwasi Yevu.
The late Foli Kwesi Yevu was a very active member of the NDC. He was very popular from the constituency to the national level since the formation of the party in 1993.
He has held several positions and worked with all Ketu South MPs in the past including the late Sena Susu, the late Charles Agbenaza, as well as Albert Kwesi Zigah, Fifi Kwetey and the current MP.
Until his untimely death he was the Security Coordinator for the party in the Constituency which is why his burial has attracted high ranking party Members.
A closed friend to Efo Yevu, Dan Sorokpo described him as a trustworthy and a dedicated man who was known for always encouraging party executives to abide by the principles of probity and accountability.
The final funeral service held at Denu on Sunday May 1, 2022 was well attended by hundreds of NDC Members, families, friends and sympathizers.
Also in attendance were the MP for the La Dade Kotopon constituency, Rita Naa Odoley Sowah, a former MP for the Ketu South constituency, Fifi Fiavi Kwatey, a former MCE for Ketu South, Pascal Lamptey as well as the Constituency Chairman Bright Kumordzi Solobagie, Constituency Secretary, Desmond Kwaku Tsewu among other constituency Executives.
The regional representatives were led by the Chairman, Henry Ametefe, Secretary, James Gunu, his Deputy Ege Bright, Daniel Agboka-Dzegede, the treasurer, Delbright Kugbadzor the deputy communication officer, other executive as well us some party sympathizers.
Yevu died at the age of 61. He left behind two male children.
