NDC’s Spurious Allegations of Akufo-Addo’s Intent to Rig the Elections

By the way, this party of unwise drunkards, the NDC, attempted to rig elections 2016 albeit in futility, even without the generals, and although they stuffed over 500,000 ballots, the vast gap between Akufo-Addo and the addict John Mahama was too large to close.

A famous Roman scholar, named Cicero, once said, “Not to know your history is to remain a child forever!” Now, for the purpose of this article, let us amend this saying to read as such, “Not to know what took place in NDC’s history is to remain ignorant forever!”

Why, you ask, eh? Ok, let us wind the clock back to the 2008 elections. The polls were too close to call, but NDC seemed to have rigged more than they could to remain afloat. Whatever the case was, there was a mere gap of a few thousand votes, if rigged by the NPP, would have propelled to power His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, becoming President then. But what happened? Are we not aware that Nana conceded to Prof Atta Mills? Have we soon forgotten that Akufo-Addo refused to spill one drop of Ghanaian blood in 2012 and post-election petition in 2013? Maybe we have forgotten, but let me remind them, the idiotic barbarians of the NDC, of President Akufo-Addo’s concession speech on August 29, 2013. Here are some excerpts:

“While I disagree with the court’s decision, I accept it. I accept that what the court says brings a finality to the election dispute. We shall not be asking for a review of the verdict, so we can all move on in the interest of our nation.”

“Everything in my bones, in my upbringing and in what I have done with my life thus far makes it imperative that I accept a decision made by the highest court of the land, however much I dislike or disagree with it.”

“Even in our disappointment, we can take pride that the NPP has again led the way in deepening Ghana’s democracy.”

That was a very remarkable and moving speech that brings tears to my eyes until this very day. May ALLAH bless this empathetic President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

So, how, at all, can the shameless nincompoops of the NDC spew such intolerable lies against the President? Even more bamboozling is the fact that they have roped in Brigadier-General Michael Opoku, known for his unshakable allegiance to our country, Ghana! If the President promoted him because he was due for it and to serve as a reward for his patriotism to the flag, is that a sin? If we have to follow the illogical reasoning of the NDC dumbass charlatans, we can then safely say that all those that John Mahama promoted were instructed to rig the elections of 2016. We in the NPP did not make noise about it because President Akufo-Addo was preparing to hit the ground running to fix the damage that John Mahama had caused Ghana in his stupor and erotic escapades!

By the way, this party of unwise drunkards, the NDC, attempted to rig elections 2016 albeit in futility, even without the generals, and although they stuffed over 500,000 ballots, the vast gap between Akufo-Addo and the addict John Mahama was too large to close.  The difference even after the rigging still stood at some one million votes.

Nana Akufo-Addo is not one to make such a mistake as to tarnish his hard-earned reputation. If he really was a power drunken person, he would have turned the country upside down to achieve it. Besides, he is, also, not a selfish human being, who would deny Ghanaians their rights, otherwise we would not have seen such empathy during the covid 19 pandemic days when Ghanaians were given free electricity for six months and free water for one and a half years, a feat not even accorded by the American President to his people. Presidents all over the world tried to learn from him how to love their people, but, love is a matter of instinct, and not a subject taught at public fora or schools!

In comparison, when we were suffering “dumsor” under John Mahama’s erroneous presidency, he was sullen enough to say that the lack of electricity was due to the overcharging of Phones. Have you ever heard President Akufo-Addo say anything as stupid as John Mahama’s utterances? How about the guinea fowl saga? “They have flown to Burkina faso to forage,” he replied when he was pushed into a tight corner by journalists!

How about, “we have chewed all the meat, remaining the bones,” in response to the out -of-control economic crisis that the country faced under his presidency! How about, “baloney”, “nonsense”, “Ghanaians have short memories,” and other insults that he hurled at Ghanaians? How about, “we won’t listen to anyone (y3n te obiaa)?” I mean NDC, good grief! Theirs is like the hopeless story of the thief that stole the stitching needle instead of the sack because it was easier to conceal in his pocket then shouted like a mad man when it was pricking him!

In stark contrast to this hypocrisy, His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo spoke to the nation in our times of covid-19 difficulty with humility, thanking people for allowing him into their home, as a form of hypothetical and humble acknowledgement of Ghanaians who tuned in to listen to him! So how can President Akufo-Addo order Brigadier-General Michael Opoku to rig the elections?

What arrant nonsense and spurious the NDC’s press conference was!
