Dr. Palgrave Boakye-Danquah, the Government’s Spokesperson for Administration and Security, lauded Ghana’s National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) for catalyzing a transformative impact on the country’s entrepreneurial landscape.’

In an interview with Dr. Randy Abbey on Metro TV’s Good Morning, Dr. Boakye-Danquah highlighted NEIP’s pivotal role in addressing youth unemployment and fostering economic growth since its inception in 2017.

Dr Boakye-Danquah underscored that NEIP had supported 15,000 startups, significantly boosting their operational capacities and creating 103,871 jobs by the end of 2024.

Reflecting on the broader economic achievements under his administration, Dr. Boakye-Danquah pointed to initiatives such as free senior high school education, the Planting for Food and Jobs program, and reforms in healthcare financing. He expressed confidence in Ghana’s economic trajectory, attributing progress to strategic policies aimed at sustainable growth and prosperity.

NEIP’s comprehensive support framework, which includes funding, skills development, and mentorship, has been instrumental in nurturing a new generation of entrepreneurs equipped to drive economic diversity and innovation in Ghana.
