In a compassionate act of generosity, God’s Coming Kingdom Foundation has stepped in to alleviate the financial burden faced by several nursing mothers detained at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.

The foundation, led by Chairperson Madam Rebecca Kaaley and founded by Mr. Solomon Abronoma Nyarko based in Holland, intervened by settling outstanding medical bills for mothers who could not afford them.

The initiative was prompted by the dire situation of nursing mothers and their babies who, despite recovering from their ailments, remained detained in the hospital due to hefty medical bills, some as high as Ghc 75,000.00. Madam Rebecca Kaaley emphasized that the foundation’s biannual support at the hospital is crucial to assisting the less privileged, especially in their hometown of Kumasi.

“This is our way of extending a helping hand to the poor and needy in our community,” Madam Kaaley explained. “Many patients, particularly mothers recovering from childbirth complications, face immense financial challenges when presented with hospital bills they cannot afford.”

The hospital staff, including Madam Akparibo Gertrude, the Principal Nursing Officer of Wall A1, have warmly received the gesture from God’s Coming Kingdom Foundation. She expressed gratitude for the foundation’s support and called on other corporate bodies and philanthropists to emulate their example.
