The gallant Troops of Sector 1, Operation LAFIYA DOLE has today successfully killed nine Boko Haram Terrorists during an ambush at Mainok-Jakana axis in kaga local government area of Borno State.
In a press statement signed and issued by the Acting Director Army Public Relations, Colonel Sagir Musa, it said, the incident occurred at about 1830 hours on the 13th of May 2020.
The statement added that the garment troops also captured two gun trucks mounted with anti aircraft guns.
According to the release, the troops staged an ambush at identified Boko Haram terrorists crossing point.
However, the release revealed that two soldiers are slightly wounded during the process, adding that the situation in area has been normalized.
