It is emerging through an unimpeachable smoking gun that the demolishing of the Nigeria High Commission building in Accra 4 years ago was stage managed and orchestrated by Anthony Duke Essien, the Managing Director of Black Gold AKW Investment Limited and a beleaguered Front Man for Osu Stool and others in connivance with some National Security Operatives.

It would be recalled that on 20th June 2024, armed men stormed the Nigerian High Commission located at Onyasia Crescent, Roman Ridge and demolished a building being put up to house diplomats and guest of the High Commission.

This demolishing exercise sparked diplomatic row between Ghana and Nigeria and triggered widespread condemnation from Diplomats and Politicians including former President Mahama who remarked “It beats my imagination how such a violent and noisy destruction could occur without our security Agents picking up the signals to avert the damage. It shows how insecurity and lawlessness government has visited on once peaceful Ghana”.

At the time, National Security was tight lipped, indicative of the fact that they knew nothing about it but latest revelation points to the fact that National Security was well aware of the operation code named “All buildings Down”.

According to deep throat sources, the businessman, media reportage at the time identified him as having gone to the Nigerian High Commission a day before the demolishing with documents to prove that the land had been sold to him is a CEO of well-known Insurance company under whose orders Anthony Duke Essien, the self-styled Osu Stool henchman led that operation “all buildings down”.

The surreptitious manner in which the business man was able to secure a title for the said land with the help of officials of the Land Commission sets tongue wagging, a fraudulent issue reserved for another chapter.

It is also emerging according to sources that, it was when the business man and Anthony Duke Essien realized that this is a demolishing gone bad owing to the diplomatic outbursts and public outcry that the duo decided to use the Osu Stool under the kingship of Nii Kinka Dowuona II ostensibly to mislead the public as though it was the Stool that was behind the demolishing.

The demolishing, which embarrassed government, put it in a difficult situation and compelled government to dole out a whopping gh45million as compensation to Anthony Duke Essien for onward payment to the Businessman and the Osu Stool’s Nii Arko Nortei VI.

The breakdown of the booty sharing which was contained in an undertaking signed by Anthony Duke Essien a copy of which is in our possession was that 10 million Ghana cedis will be deposited into the Osu Stool account, whilst the remaining 35million Ghana cedis will be shared amongst Anthony Duke Essien, Assigns of the Osu Stool and National Security Operatives.

Newsflashafrica.com is gathering that Anthony Duke Essien whose account the money was paid into begun to dilly dally with the other beneficiaries when the money hit his accounts.

According to the smoking gun (key witness/source) Anthony Duke Essien paid gh10million to the Business man and in a shocking turn of event, reneged on his own undertaking, called the bluff of the beneficiaries and vanished into thin air without paying what is due the Assigns of the Osu stool after realizing that the Osu Chief, Nii Kinka Dowuona has passed.

We are reliably informed that Anthony Duke Essien, the brain behind the “ operation all buildings down” is on National Security radar for how he short-changed government and the Osu Stool given the colossal money involved and how embarrassing the situation was to government.

More Soon as business man will be named in the subsequent publication revealing original cost of the land vs the amount he received for it.
