The Federal Government has withdrawn the provisional allocation of 1,357 housing units across 33 states under the National Housing Programme (NHP) due to beneficiaries’ failure to meet payment deadlines.

Dr. Shuaib Muhammad Belgore, the ministry’s permanent secretary, emphasized that only individuals who failed to meet their payment obligations were affected. He assured that those who completed their payments by February 28, 2025, remain eligible to receive their Letters of Allocation and take possession of their homes immediately.
To maintain transparency, the government has published the full list of revoked allocations—including names, locations, and house types—on its official website (fmhud.gov.ng). The list will also be published in Daily Trust, The Nation, and Leadership newspapers in the first week of April.
Affected individuals have been advised to visit the Ministry’s headquarters in Mabushi, Abuja, or contact the Director of Public Buildings and Housing Development for further inquiries.
The Federal Government reaffirmed its commitment to fair access to affordable housing, emphasizing that compliance with allocation terms is crucial to streamlining the National Housing Programme for greater efficiency.
