Ashie Moore disclosed this in an interview with journalists in Accra.

The donation comes days after the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin donated GHS 100,000 to support the payment of the rent arrears.

The regional Chairman said it is his commitment to ensuring that the party has a conducive place of meeting as they prepare for the 2024 general elections.

According to him, plans are far advanced to put up a permanent Regional NDC office to avoid the occurrence of such rent arrears in the future.

He however appealed to party faithfuls and sympathizers to lend their support as by sending their contributions towards the anticipated victory in 2024.

“As we speak, I have donated an amount of GHS50,000.00 towards the settlement of part of the rent arrears of our regional office.

“We recently received similar support from the Speaker of Parliament who happened to be one of the Fathers of our party – the Great NDC.

“But I am assuring our party supporters that by the end of my four year mandate as Regional Chairman, we should have our own office, built for our activities. We cannot keep on spending this huge sums of money on renting. So, by 2024-2025, we should start something for our office. Even if I don’t complete it before my mandate ends, at least, there will be a building site for that purpose,” Ashie Moore assured.
