North Tongu NDC to hold Street Campaign and Workshop for Branch Communicators

The North Tongu Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will organize a One-day Street Campaign and Communication Workshop for its Branch Communications Officers and Constituency Executives on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at TLPC Juapong.

The event, themed “The Power of Communication in Ensuring Resounding Political Victory,” aims to equip participants with communication strategies critical for achieving political success.

The workshop will feature notable figures from the NDC, including His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Sammy Gyamfi, and other key party leaders.

Deputy Communications Officer for the Constituency, Wisdom Wilson Adzedakor, in an interview with Ghananewsonline.com.gh, highlighted that the various speakers will guide the Branch Communications Officers and Constituency Executives through key topics such as:

• The role of communication officers in disseminating key party policies, particularly as outlined in the Resetting Ghana: Jobs & Progress Manifesto.
• Winning the hearts and minds of voters, focusing on how to engage effectively with constituents.
• Locating North Tongu and the broader Volta Region within the NDC 2024 Manifesto, detailing how the region plays a pivotal role in the party’s electoral strategy.
• Addressing the corruption under the Nana Addo and Bawumia-led government over the past eight years, and how to leverage this narrative in campaigns.
• The significance of information centres in retail campaigning and why communication officers must prioritize their involvement in these grassroots efforts.
• An overview of the North Tongu constituency, including projections for the upcoming elections and strategies to solidify the NDC’s dominance.

This session promises to provide practical skills and insights to enhance the effectiveness of communication within the party’s campaign efforts, setting the stage for electoral victory.
