Former Auditor-General and member of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team, Daniel Yao Domelevo, has debunked speculations that all findings of ORAL will be directed to the Office of the Special Prosecutor.
Domelevo, in an interview on Joy News’ PM Express, disclosed that, not all instances of wrongdoing or misuse of public funds fall under the purview of the Office of the Special Prosecutor.
“We are talking about bleeding of the public best and we may have to take action quickly, let me also correct one wrong notion, it is not true that all corruption or abuses of public funds reside with the special prosecutor.” He said.

“Some of the issues may be within the domain of the auditor general some may go to OSP, some may go to special prosecutor, some may even have to go to maybe the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice, so it is good or it is necessary that we gather this information and break it into pieces and say, look, these ones are good for special prosecutor and this is for auditor general, this is for EOCO and this is for CHRAJ.” He explained.
