The Ranking Member on Parliament’s Committee on Works and Housing who is also the Member of Parliament for the Dormaa West constituency, Honourable Vincent Oppong Asamoah, has stated that, contrary to popular information, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Flats is currently being occupied by thugs of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) known as the Invisible Forces and not squatters as has been alleged by the Minister.

Reacting to a statement by the Minister for Works and Housing, Hon. Francis Asenso Boakye on the floor of Parliament last week that the UNDP Flats has been taken over by squatters who do not pay any rent to the government, Hon. Oppong Asamoah revealed that President Akufo-Addo gave the order for the NPP Invisible Forces to use that building as their residence.
