NPP Parl. Primaries: NDC’s Allotey Jacobs supports Okyere Baafi for New Juaben South

Former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Kojo Allotey Jacobs, has declared support for Michael Okyere Baafi’s campaign to unseat the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for New Juaben South, Dr. Mark Assibey-Yeboah, ahead of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary primaries slated for April this year.

News is circulating widely in the constituency, that, Michael Okyere Baafi is lacing his boots to unseat Dr. Assibey-Yeboah.

Allotey Jacobs says Michael Okyere Baafi is loved by the NPP grass-root and he believes he is very competent to explore other opportunities and networks to create economic opportunities for the constituency.

“I have known Michael Okyere Baafi for a long time and I have never doubted his competence. I am supporting him to win the NPP primaries in the New Juaben South constituency,” Allotey Jacobs exclusively told Lawyer Ohene Gyan on the ‘Pae Mu Ka’ show on Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7.

The Constituency has lately seen several projects and activities with the support of Michael Okyere Baafi and all these are geared towards supporting the living conditions of the people.

Reports have it that most members of the NPP are rooting for Okyere Baafi because they have fallen off with the incumbent MP who is allegedly having misunderstandings with some party executives within the constituency.

It is also on record that some executives of the NPP in the region, have already declared their support for Michael Okyere Baafi who is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Free Zones  to stand Authority (GFZA).
