Madam Sheila Bartels, a leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), successfully picked up her nomination forms on Wednesday, January 29 at the Ablekuma North NPP office.
This will not come as a surprise to many of her fellow patriots as Sheila has on many other platforms expressed her willingness and ability to use this opportunity to unify the party on the constituency, help create sustainable and dignified jobs for the teeming party youth, and improve living standards within the constituency by deliberate advocacy and collaboration with the general citizenry.
Accompanied by leading members of her team; including former constituency chairman, Mr Charles Amoah Kodom; Sheila was warmly received by the current constituency Chairman, Mr George Nkrumah and the constituency secretary, Mr Samuel Larbi.
Speaking after she was handed the forms, Sheila thanked the executives for their hospitality. She also reaffirmed her willingness to run her campaign in a manner which respects all the laid down rules.
She concluded by assuring the executives that she is committed to the strengthening of the party, as it goes into 2020 parliamentary elections.
