NPP Primaries: Apesemakahene of Mampong Akwapim endorses OB Amoah’s bid for reelection
Apesemakahene of the Mampong Akwapim in the Eastern Region, Nana Yirenkyi I, has appealed to delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Akwapim South Constituency to vote for OB Amoah to enable him “continue the good works he is doing”.
According to Nana Yirenky, the MP has done a lot in the area and must be given another chance to represent the people in Parliament.
He mentioned some of the projects by the MP to include community clinics, a district hospital, Akwapim South becoming a Municipal status, several employment opportunities for people, regularly supporting the celebration of Odwira festival every year, among others.
“I urge delegates not to make mistake or it will affect the development of the Constituency,” he stated.
Nana Yirenky noted that politics is all about lobbying for people, helping them, being there with them and for them, and not “someone who doesn’t know anything but only to get money for his family,”.
“Akwapim South delegates have been blessed to have an MP like OB Amoah,” he said
