Ambassador Horace Nii Ayi Ankrah has observed, with much concern, the involvement of the ruling NPP administration’s involvement in illegal mining popularly known as Galamsey.

According to Horace Ankrah, the NPP involvement in Galamsey activities is unfortunate and he is making a strong case to Ghanaians not to trust President Akufo-Addo with another 4-year term.

He made these known in his weekly viral video dedicated to floating voters on social media justifying why Akufo-Addo should not be given any 4 years again.

“I want to take you down to the Galamsey lane; Galamsey from my experience in China and other places, I know that it is not wrong to mine new money; you know what I mean by mining new money; it helps the economy, just like the small-scale miners helping the economy with what they were doing.

“Unfortunately water bodies and the environment were being disturbed, then came in the NPP government, promising you and I better water bodies and environment to stopping Galemsey; what do we see today?”

…Maybe the GHC5 (Five Cedis) a day that he is going to make for his family took their excavators, other instruments, things that they need to making sure that they can also feed their families, NPP took those things from them and shared it amongst themselves; I’m talking to you about the 400 excavators. You know what they did,” Horace stated.

The Ambassador referring to the missing 400 excavators that was shared amongst NPP officials and the missing gold from the illegal activities they indulged in claimed that “so you were disturbing the water bodies, that is evil”

He emphasized that President Mahama, in his second coming, is going to be using technology to making sure that in the mining of new money, the environment is protected, our water bodies are protected.

“…And you and I will never experience anybody coming in to take the mere GHC5 Cedis that you are making to making sure that you put food on your table for your family to enjoy.

…Once again, I am telling you that the NPP led by President Akufo-Addo will always promise you something that will not benefit you and I but will benefit the President himself, his family, his party, and the disturbing aspect of it all foreigners.

Fellow Ghanaian, stop sitting on the fence, stop being tagged as a FLOATING VOTER! Join President John Dramani Mahama to rescue Ghana, to rescue our water bodies, I appeal to you to join him now and vote for the NDC in December 2020,” he appealed.
