NPP unveils campaign team for 2024 elections; Akufo-Addo, Kufuor lead advisory team

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has unveiled its national campaign team for the forthcoming 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections, positioning a blend of seasoned politicians and strategists to spearhead its campaign efforts.

The ruling party is looking to extend its stay in office after two terms and make it three terms in a row, the first for any political party since the commencement of the 4th republic.

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia recently outlined his vision to the country and national campaign team that has been assembled by the party is set to ensure the NPP wins the 2024 elections.

Leading the advisory team are prominent figures including President Nana Akufo-Addo, former President J.A. Kuffour, Freddie Blay, and Peter Mac Manu, offering their wealth of experience and guidance.

The campaign’s helm will be steered by Hon. Dan Botwe as the Campaign Chairman, with support from deputies Fred Oware and Nana Akomea, signaling a strategic move to consolidate party strengths across various fronts.

Opare Ansah steps in as the Campaign Manager, with deputies Adjei Sowah and Habit Idrisu, tasked with the intricate planning and execution of the campaign’s daily operations.

Operational efforts will be led by Justin Kodua Frimpong with assistance from Deputy Nana B, while logistics will be managed by Chairman Butey and his deputy, Archibald Cobbina. Dr. Apolo will head the fundraising initiatives, crucial for fueling the campaign’s activities across the nation.

Communication strategy will be orchestrated by Dennis Miracle Aboagye, with deputies including Adomako Baafi, Krobea Asante, and Akbar, aiming to craft and disseminate compelling messages to the electorate. Serving as the voices of the campaign, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Gideon Boako, and Antoinett Tsibu Darko have been appointed as spokespersons.

Additionally, special advisors Sammy Awuku, Abayifa Karbo, Paapa Owusu Ankomah, and Kofi Dzamesi will lend their expertise to ensure a comprehensive and dynamic campaign strategy.

This formidable team represents the NPP’s commitment to securing victory in the 2024 elections, highlighting a strategic blend of experience, youth, and dynamism in its approach to engaging with the Ghanaian electorate.
