Nsawam: Man, 40, beats son to death, buries him secretly

A 40-year-old Nigerian man identified only as Justice a.k.a Oga, is being held by the Nsawam Police Command in the Eastern Region for secretly burying his son after beating him to death.

According to reports, Justice lives in Kyekyewere near Asuboi in the Eastern Region with his wife and three children, including Wisdom, the deceased.

It is said that Justice mostly assault his wife and kids but got unlucky this time as one of his usual behaviour led to the death of one of his kids.

An eyewitness who reported the news to the police recounted how she saw Justice carrying the dead body of his severely beaten son into a taxi.

Initially, it was reported that Justice carried his son to the Nsawam Government Hospital after he had gone unconscious but was pronounced dead on their arrival at the hospital.

According to what we have gathered, Justice beat his son for defying his orders to stay in the house after failing to go to school.

Meanwhile, after being arrested, Justice stated that his son died of malaria and he had deposited his remains at the mortuary, however, after further probing, he confessed to beating him to death and hurrying him secretly.

His wife, whose name is yet to be identified has fled from Kyekyewere with her two remaining kids and cannot be traced.
