Allegations of Demolishing ‘NDC contender pub’: Adwoa Safo reacts
Sarah Adwoa Safo, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Dome Kwabenya Constituency in the Greater Accra region, who doubles as the Minister of State in Charge of Procurements, has refuted accusations of spearheading the demolishing of her NDC rival-Elikplim Akurugu’s pub at Kwebenya.
Adwoa Safo responded to these allegations during an interaction with United Television (UTV) in Accra.
“That is not true, anyone who knows me very well knows I’m not violent. The only politician who had a pub around that area is Zita Okaikoi, but I think she has even moved it. But this aspirant you speak of I don’t know anything about her pub. They’re just lying to my constituents,” the MP stated.
According to her, Elikplim Akurugu, her opponent from the NDC is not someone she knows in person but has only seen her on billboards.

“I’ve never met her but I’ve seen her on billboards, “she said.
She also rejected the possibility of some of her supporters perpetrating the act in her name.
