A renowned Ghanaian rapper, multiple award winning singer-songwriter, philanthropist and entrepreneur, Okyeame Kwame, has patriotically dragged both current and former Ghanaian heads of state, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and John Dramani Mahama in a twitter post over reports on rice imports costing Ghana close to $600million.

Okyeame Kwame, who is gearing up to release a new album, dubbed “Made in Ghana” in no time raised his apprehension about the stated report, tweeting directly at Ex-President John Mahama and His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo, the current ruler of the Republic of Ghana.

He tweets:

“Ghana is importing averagely 600 million dollars of Rice every Year when parts of our land can grow very healthy rice .WHY why why why? @NAkufoAddo @JDMahama #madeInGhana
