New Sound Track & Music Video: G.A.I.K.N – Global African Icon Kwame Nkrumah
Baamu Records, in association with GhanaHero.Com, will release “G.A.I.K.N – Global African Icon Kwame Nkrumah”, Sound Track and Video, 1 July, 2020. The release, produced by yours truly Prof Lungu, is set to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the date Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah took office as the First President, First Head of State, and First Citizen of Ghana under the First Republic of Ghana, on 1 July, 1960. That memorable day, 3 years after proclamation of an Independent Ghana by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, was actually the date the British Governor General’s flag was lowered, and the colonial governor’s presence removed from Ghana’s soil forever.
G.A.I.K.N – Global African Icon Kwame Nkrumah”, Sound Track and Video, has been a project several years in the making.
We are glad we have reached this beautiful end, and have a modest, history-making Sound Track and Music Video to show for our effort come 1 July, 2020, on the anniversary of the 1st Republic of Ghana, the very day Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah assumed office as President, Head of Government, and Head of State, and First Citizen, in Accra, Ghana.
