Osei-Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, an Epitome of a Bad Leader
Leadership, they say is an act of worship to both God and mankind. However political leadership has in recent years turned to be a way of enriching oneself or putting oneself above his/her subjects.
But we can boast of leaders like J.A.Kufour, Nana Akufo-Addo, who have disproved this notion that all political leaders enrich themselves. These two leaders have really shown signs of servants leadership, I can actually beat my chest and say that, the NPP itself has been made of generally people who have made themselves up and want to serve their subjects.
However there are few within the rank and file of the party who probably should have belonged to the opposition NDC. Actually, this is a party whose members only use politics to succeed in life, and frankly almost everyone in that party became someone because of being in government one way or the other.
So it becomes very baffling and intriguing that someone from this noble party called the NPP would want to carry the character traits of the NDC. How can you call yourself a leader when you do not groom others to take after you? How do you call yourself a leader if you are not confident in yourself? How can you be a good leader if you think you are indispensable? Any leader who is not giving opportunities to others is a very bad one and that is exactly what the majority leader Osei-Kyei Mensah-Bonsu is.
