PAC urges DCEs to strengthen relationships with MPs for Constituency development
The MP for Tamale Central Hon. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed and some Members of the Committee advised DCEs contesting their MPs’ seats to desist from hampering the work of the MPs because it goes to the extent of affecting the very people in the Constituencies
The Public Accounts Committee has advised District Chief Executives to cultivate good relationships with their Members of Parliament.
The Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, Hon. James Klutse-Avedzi has stressed the need for DCEs to have a good relationship with their MP’s for the development of their constituents.
The Chairman made this statement during Zone Two of the Public Hearing in Sunyani to consider the Auditor-General’s Report on the Management and Utilisation of District Assemblies Common Fund and Other Statutory Funds for the year ended 31st December 2022 and Pre-University Educational Institutions in the Ashanti Region.
This Zone Two Covers Western North, Ashanti, Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Regions.
