Parliament: 538 MPs and Staff test negative for Covid-19

Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has called on Members of Parliament to support him put up proactive measures to fight Covid-19 in the House.

Acccording to him, reopening of parliament after a 3-week break has given reasons for more proactive measures to be adopted by the House.

Welcoming the House back after a 3-week break due to Covid-19 menace, Speaker Bagbin told the members to be rest assured that the fight against the Coronavirus will be won.

Speaker Bagbin also informed the House that 12 Out of 538 members and staff of parliament have been tested and have proven negative after re-testing and that the affected people have been isolated and are currently under going treatment.
