Persons With Disability in Okaikoi Central call on NDC Parliamentary Candidate

Persons With Disability (PWDs) in the Okaikoi North Municipality have called on the Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Okaikoi Central Constituency, Abdul Rashid Issah.

This is to seek the candidate’s support at this crucial moment of a partial lockdown of some parts of the country due to the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Accordingto the group, they gathered at the Fadama lorry station expecting the government and the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area – Patrick Boamah to come and support them through the Municipal Assembly following the directive by the government that it is providing food to the vulnerable and deprived persons at this trying times of the lockdown.

However, they were denied and neglected and the only surviving source they could think of was to fall on the benevolent hands of Hon Rashid for support.

The Constituency women’s organizer Madam Lydia Angel Nutakor attended to the group on behalf of the Candidate.
